Reflection On Immigration Discussion

I was glad we got to discuss this topic because I had a chance to research on it a little more. It was intresting to hear the response of my peers. I didnt like the fact that some people wouldnt listen when others wanted to speak or were only open to people that shared their ideas. I did like to hear the personal stories and how close they are to so many of us. I believe that immigration is a very sensitive topic but I believe that the way to save our economy is by slowly allowing people who have lived here for many years ilegally to prove they can contribute to this contry and become legal citizens. Although this topic seems to go back and forth and it seems to go nowhere, allowing discussions is the number one factor to bring awareness and make people want to act on it by informing knowledge about the topic and educating those people who seem to have an opinion without knowing any facts.
